I started to say maybe it was too much work for him, but then I realized that Herbie is on that same morning show with him and has been for as far back as I can remember.
:dunno: Having said all of that, I do prefer Rece Davis, but only if he continues to do College Football Final at the end of the day. Now that will be a long day if he can pull it off. I don't think it is a demotion. Just the other day I saw Fowler doing network coverage of the Australian Open Tennis matches. So I do think he is a busy guy.

Flower was on Game Day for 25 years. Davis is an excellent replacement. I imagine both guys are happy with the check they take to the bank each pay period.
