Title: Sidney Littlejohn Tosses a Perfect Game, Bama wins 8-0 Post by: Jamos on February 06, 2015, 04:59:59 PM The No. 3 Alabama Crimson Tide defeated the Eastern Kentucky Colonels by a final score of 8-0 on Friday afternoon at the Gulf Shores Sportsplex in Orange Beach, Alabama. Sophomore Sydney Littlejohn retired all 15 batters she faced to join current UA Pitching Coach Stephanie VanBrakle as just the second player to toss a perfect game in the history of the program.
Littlejohn registered a career-high eight strikeouts across her 5.0 perfect frames. The sophomore hurler retired five batters through the air and worked a pair of groundouts.
