Lacy became the second of the eight to reach 2,000 in two NFL seasons. Lacy rushed for 1,178 yards as a rookie in 2013 and 1,139 yards in 2014 for the Green Bay Packers.

Lacy is one of three Alabama players with 1,000-yard rushing seasons in the NFL. Like Lacy, Bobby Humphrey recorded 1,000-yard seasons in his first two years in the league in 1989 and 1990 for the Denver Broncos.

The other five 1,000-yard rushing seasons by a former Alabama player belong to Shaun Alexander. Alexander won the NFL MVP Award in 2005 when he led the league with 1,808 rushing yards, the 11th-most in one season in NFL history and the most by an Alabama alumnus.

Alexander's 9,453 career rushing yards are 5,601 more than any other Alabama player has compiled in the NFL.

I would look for Lacy to break Alexander's record if he can avoid the injuries...
