Even though most of us think this season is all but over, Bama will play Vandy in pretty much a do or die game tonight. I don't think Bama has much a chance now at an NCAA Tournament berth but if they lose tonight I would say it is all over. I've seen this team play very well at times but it hasn't been very often of late.

Anyway, we'll be there to see what happens. RTR!!!

I'll look for you Jamos. I will be at the game too. Having dinner at Steamer's on the Strip now.

I think we have a good chance. Vandy is struggling with a team of 6 freshmen & 3 sophomores. Looks like they start 3 freshmen, 1 soph, & a senior, plus we are at home.

Ricky Tarrant is limping bad and not dressed out. Looks like he may be out a few more games if he comes back this year at all.

Ova solan looks like he is going to play.

Haven't been able to post but watched first half at the gym. The last 10 seconds were horrible with a 4 point turn around by Vandy. Obasohan showing good effort & energy.

There comes a time when failure is too obvious to ignore.  I gotta believe that quiet sound you may have heard at the end of this game was the proverbial straw falling on the camel's back. I hope CBB heard it too.

I just hope, for the player's sakes, that the team doesn't collapse after this.

The players are still hustling, like Levi, Hale, Obasohan, etc. They seem to be holding it together.

Very disappointed in the outcome of the game. This was a game I thought we should and would win.

I felt like we out played Vandy most of the game. Until late in the 2nd half I kept thinking we were going to pull away but Vandy always answered with a clutch basket or free throw. We out rebounded and out hustled Vandy. The team played hard. We did not lose due to lack of effort.

The officials played a huge part of the game. Vandy was getting calls we were not getting on our end. It seemed our guys would get mugged driving to basket and no call. Vandy would get calls to go their with much less contact. The game was lost at the free trow line. Vandy shot 18 and hit 17 more free throws than we did. It was ridiculous. We have said this after a lot of games this year but this game was worst than the others IMO.

I think CAG will be able to hold the team together and keeping them playing hard will good effort. I think as long as Randolph and Cooper keep their heads straight I think the rest of the team will follow. I just don't know how that will translate in wins and losses the rest of the way.

It was nice to see Jamos and Mrs. J at the game.

It was good to see you and Mrs. P as well, you two need to come down more often and we can check out some of the restaurants. ;)

Another Ugly:

Leading by 5 points, Bama is holding for the final shot in the first half, gets fouled, and misses the front end of the 1/1.  Vandy drives to the basket, gets a foul and technical call, hits all 4 shots, and is only down by 1 at half.

I thought that might have been the turning point of the game. We were playing well & then BOOM, it all fell apart in seconds.
