Title: Georgia at Alabama (7:00 ESPNU) Post by: pmull on February 21, 2015, 09:00:18 AM Quote Alabama begins a stretch of playing three of its next four games at Coleman Coliseum when the Crimson Tide welcomes the Georgia Bulldogs to Coleman Coliseum. The contest, which will be televised on ESPN2, is set to tip off at 7 p.m. CT. http://www.rolltide.com/sports/m-baskbl/spec-rel/022015aab.html Title: Re: Georgia at Alabama (7:00 ESPNU) Post by: pmull on February 21, 2015, 09:09:11 AM I hope the team plays with the same energy and purpose as they did in the Auburn game. That was a complete game where we shot the ball well, rebounded and played solid defense. We attacked the basket and made quick decisions. We can not go back to the old habit of passing the ball around the perimeter for 30 seconds and toss up a desperate shot at the end of the shot clock.
The team was fired up after the barn win. I hope that carries over and gives us a boost down the stretch. Check out the short video of the team celebration after the barn game in the link below. That game meant something to them. They do not look like a team ready to give up on the season to me. www.rolltide.com/collegesportslive/?media=488619 Title: Re: Georgia at Alabama (7:00 ESPNU) Post by: 2Stater on February 21, 2015, 10:13:47 AM I hope the team plays with the same energy and purpose as they did in the Auburn game. In other words "We own the barn". It appears the team was waiting on CAG and Levi to return from post game interviews. They were one happy bunch. It also looks like the team likes and respects their head coach. That was not the case at the end of Gottfried's stay at Alabama. I hope we see more of that play against Georgia tonight. Title: Re: Georgia at Alabama (7:00 ESPNU) Post by: Marshal Dillon on February 21, 2015, 12:39:48 PM UGA was playing very good BB, but the last couple of weeks have fallen apart. I don't know if its injuries or what. They are an excellent rebounding team which worries me.

I been watching LSU vs Fla. and I have never seen Fla look so bad. It seems they need a flip for all the rocks they been throwing up at the goal. I wonder if lsu is as good as they seem to be in this game? RTR! Title: Re: Georgia at Alabama (7:00 ESPNU) Post by: Marshal Dillon on February 21, 2015, 03:59:00 PM Big boys for UGA:

Cooper waited too long to take that last shot. If nothing else, he should have jumped into the defender's path and hoped for the foul call. Overall the team played well, with energy. Just couldn't quite get it done at the end. Title: Re: Georgia at Alabama (7:00 ESPNU) Post by: pmull on February 21, 2015, 10:06:46 PM After a slow start we played pretty well and should have won the game. You have to hit free throws. 16 for 31 (51.6%) will get you beat and it did.

Title: Re: Georgia at Alabama (7:00 ESPNU) Post by: Jamos on February 22, 2015, 07:40:30 AM I've complained all season about the inability to make free throws and the consequences of it. Our AD was at the game last night also and he spent most of the game leaned over with his elbows on his knees and his chin in his hands.
Just for a complainers sake, the Refs sucked again last night. >:( Title: Re: Georgia at Alabama (7:00 ESPNU) Post by: Chechem on February 22, 2015, 07:42:46 AM I've complained all season about the inability to make free throws and the consequences of it. Of course there is no guaranty we hit the free throws.
That is our 4th home conference loss. I can accept the Kentucky loss but the other three are the difference in a NCAA or NIT bid.
