Quote The NCAA Auburn Regional gets underway at 6 p.m. CT and tickets are available through www.auburntigers.com. Alabama has advanced to the NCAA Championships the last 32 years in a row, the second longest streak in NCAA history. A total of six regionals around the country will be contested on Saturday, with the top-two teams from each site advancing Ft. Worth, Texas, site of this year's NCAA Championships. Alabama, ranked fifth nationally, is the No. 1 seed in Auburn, while host-school Auburn is ranked eighth and seeded second and Minnesota, ranked 17th, is seeded third. No. 23 Iowa, No. 30 Maryland and No. 31 George Washington round out the regional site. The Tide will start the regional on the uneven bars. From there, Alabama will move to the balance beam before going to the first of two byes. The Tide then goes to the floor exercise and vault before finishing on its second bye. http://www.rolltide.com/sports/w-gym/spec-rel/040315aab.html (http://grfx.cstv.com/photos/schools/alab/sports/w-gym/auto_bsi_wide/10961684.jpeg) Title: Re: Gymnastics Set for Saturday's NCAA Auburn Regional Post by: Catch Prothro on April 04, 2015, 09:35:40 AM Why Auburn for the regional? ???

We also beat Auburn... again.
Quote For the 33rd year in a row, and the first under head coach Dana Duckworth, the Alabama gymnastics team advances to the NCAA Championships after winning its NCAA-best 30th regional championship in Auburn Arena Saturday night with a 197.575. "We are so honored to be moving forward to Ft. Worth for an opportunity to compete for a national championship," Duckworth said. "It was a complete and total team effort. We focused on one thing at a time. We focused on the word this week: unbreakable. Tonight in the locker room we said let's have unbreakable joy, unbreakable belief and unbreakable love and I feel like that is exactly what they did, one routine at a time, and it worked out in our favor." http://www.rolltide.com/sports/w-gym/recaps/040415aab.html (http://grfx.cstv.com/photos/schools/alab/sports/w-gym/auto_special_large_photo/10968376.jpeg) Title: Re: Gymnastics Set for Saturday's NCAA Auburn Regional Post by: Chechem on April 05, 2015, 06:19:08 AM Wooooooooooooooot.
