Title: Nick Saban talks Alabama running backs (Video)
Post by: pmull on August 06, 2011, 07:55:56 AM
Nick Saban was asked about depth at Alabama's running back postion during Friday's opening press conference.

The addition of true freshman Brent Calloway should help, though even he has said he has a lot of work to do to catch up.

Trent Richardson, Eddie Lacy and Jalston Fowler took the running back reps in that order during Friday's morning practice.

In most cases his tolerance level with the media gets punched when they want to make a problem out of something that really isn't a problem. As he said in the video, they have 3 good running backs but do they have more than that, probably not but it is something they will work on as the season progresses, no big deal. The media is always looking for some type of gloom and doom, CNS is just the opposite, whatever the situation may be, just handle it.

I can't think of many on the team that couldn't convert to RB if needed.
