Title: Kansas City Chiefs Report
Post by: Marshal Dillon on August 07, 2011, 02:44:58 PM
I thought you might be interested in the Chiefs since 4 Tide players play for them. They include Leron McClain, Wallace Gilberry, Javier Arenas, & Bobby Greenwood.

The feeling of in the 8-8 range seems like you are about to kiss your sister. I hope all the Alabama guys have a great year. RTR!

Quote
Croyle began the 2009 season once again as the Chiefs' starting quarterback, filling in for an injured Matt Cassel. Croyle was released by the Chiefs in 2011.

I don't know if you slip up on anyone in the NFL, due to the talent level in the league. 10-6 last year was not a fluke, and though I don't think the Chiefs will do a whole lot better, I think 10-6 or 11-5 is possible, especially if Cassel has a better season and Bowe has another breakout season.

Info on Brodie:

[/colorRemember when Herman Edwards praised Croyle for his football skills? Edwards saw something that we never saw in Croyle and wanted to build a football team around him. Croyle received a lot of undeserved attention during his time in Kansas City.

He was too fragile to try to play tough, and if you aren't tough you'll never make it in the NFL.

Yeah, I have to agree. He didn't get much instruction from Shula and the O-line was so poor, he was slammed around way too much. Then, at the Chifs, the same conditions existed. He couldn't seem to put weight on and stayed around 200 to 210 pounds, not near enough in the NFL, especially when a guy 255 or more hits you.
