Title: McElroy eyes April 5
Post by: Terrie1959 on March 09, 2011, 06:48:09 PM
Former University of Alabama quarterback Greg McElroy, who did not run the 40-yard dash at Pro Day Wednesday due to a hand injury from the Senior Bowl, said he is targeting April 5 for a private workout to show scouts his throwing skills.

I will give you credit for being optimistic.

I don't see him going that high. I think he is a late round pick. I do expect him to make a team as a back up QB. He bought in to Saban's process and Saban's process prepares you well for the next level. Didn't McElroy say "playing at Alabama is like the pros except you don't get paid".

I love your optimism too, Preacher.  I'll be very happy if he is drafted before the 7th.  Dallas?
