UT vs UF in game #1. UF leads 1-0 after one inning.

UF homers have them up 3-0 in top of 4th.

UT with a 2 run homer cuts it to 3-2.

5-2 UF, going to the B5.

UF whips UT 7-2.

There are no easy games in the WCWS but I am glad UF is on the other side of the bracket.

If I'm not mistaken, in the WCWS, they swap out of the original brackets.

In game 2, LSU leads the barn 1-0 going to the B2.

I so still can not understand why our boys Baseball team didn't get in the big dance. RTR!

Osorio grooved an 0-2 pitch, with 2 outs, right down the middle and the UM girl knocked it out of the park. UM up after one, 1-0.

Still 1-0 after two innings.

Still 1-0 after three. Only hit so far is the UM homerun.

Spencer get's a hit for Bama, but doesn't get any help. Going to the B4 down 1-0.

UM hits a GS to blow it open in the B4. Still nobody out. 5-0 UM.  >:(

Got dominated by Michigan tonight. 5-0 Final.  :(

That was depressing to watch.

UM is a really good team this year. It would not surprise me to see the final series come down to them and the Gators... I still think our ladies will make some noise in OKC before it is over though...

UCLA beat Oregon 7-1 in the last game of the night. Oregon will play Bama at 1:30 Saturday.

I agree.  Florida and Michigan seem to be ahead of everyone else.  I haven't seen UCLA play.   

UF & LSU are scoreless after 3. Good defensive game so far.

UF's horse hits a 2 run homer. 2-0 UF after 5.

UM and UCLA are currently tied at 4-4 in the 4th.

UM won 10-4 to advance to Sunday only needing 1 more win to reach the finals.

We play UCLA today at 1:30. If we win we will play LSU later today.

UCLA moves to the other bracket side, like LSU moved to our side.

The barn and UT going at it right now. They are both putting a lot of runners on, but there is no score after 2 innings.

I have to go to my grandson's tee ball game during the Bama game. I'm so conflicted.  :unsure:

FINALLY!!! The Aubarn/UCLA game ended after over 4 hours & extra innings. Barn won 11-10 on a bases loaded walk in the 10th.. The UCLA pitcher threw 197 pitches! What the heck was that all about? The girl was definitely tired, it was obvious to me. Bama/LSU game delayed 2 hours because of the extra innings.

Bama loses 5-1 to end the season. Not one of of best teams but they did a very good job making it this far.

True.  Fun to watch, and plenty of talent.  Their comeback in regional play was epic!

I was at an auction until 1AM, and kept going out to the car to listen to updates via Sirius Radio.  I didn't find a broadcast, but got updates from the LSU men's game.

Can't believe that Michigan girl on third base didn't head home.  The Florida shortstop was going for a double play and giving up the run.

Game Three -- Championship

Florida up 3-0 in the first inning.  They aren't messing around.

Florida's first batter got to first base Hit-By-Pitch.  What I don't understand is she was doing that slap technique  :eyeroll:  and stepped in front of the plate when she was hit.  Her foot was out of the batter's box in front of the plate.  I don't think she should get first base for that, but then I've never seen any slappers in men's baseball.

Write this down: "Women are different."

My wife played softball (catcher) and has a similar opinion to me -- not sure how running at the ball improves your odds of hitting it, seems like it would make it more difficult.   ???
