Title: Lacy awaits his chance Post by: pmull on August 10, 2011, 03:01:24 PM "I've progressed a lot," Lacy said. "I'm starting to be able to actually step into my role as the No. 2 back. And when the season starts, I'll be ready."
Last year, he admittedly wasn't quite so ready. With Ingram sitting out two early games while recovering from minor knee surgery, Lacy had trouble in the area of ball security. At season's end, he had regained some confidence, and rushed five times for 86 yards and a pair of touchdowns in Alabama's 49-7 bowl win over the Spartans. "I got a little down on myself. Fumbles happen, it's football. All you can do is think forward. You don't keep thinking about what you've done in the past. You have to move on. You've got to keep going." http://alabama.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1250279 Title: Re: Lacy awaits his chance Post by: Leewillie on August 10, 2011, 03:32:34 PM Lacy has a load of talent. I hope he can get healthy and stay healthy.

I am looking forward to seeing USCe try and stop these RB's in the SeCCG. I am hoping USCe wins the east I want another shot at them. RTR!
Title: Re: Lacy awaits his chance Post by: Jamos on August 10, 2011, 03:37:18 PM He has always impressed me with his running skills, if he can just hang on to the football he will turn some heads this year. I said in an earlier thread that this duo, Richardson/Lacey, can be as good or better than the Ingram/Richardson duo and that's saying a lot. ;)

RTR! I said in an earlier thread that this duo, Richardson/Lacey, can be as good or better than the Ingram/Richardson duo and that's saying a lot. ;) Both Richardson and Lacy will benefit from one of the best offensive lines we have every had. I look for our running game to be as good as the 2009 BCS duo of Ingram & Richardson. I would love for them to be undefeated going in to that game, but that is highly unlikely. #+ Title: Re: Lacy awaits his chance Post by: SUPERCOACH on August 10, 2011, 07:34:04 PM He has always impressed me with his running skills, if he can just hang on to the football he will turn some heads this year. If they can make just a tiny hole TR will win the Heisman if he can stay healthy. |
