Title: Sports Illustrated says Bama will win it all

Stewart Mandel says we're "loaded on both sides of the ball" and Saban's recruiting is a case of dominance."

A good article except for a back handed comment at CNS.

Saban (whose classes look even better after some of his patented oversigning and roster purging) is in prime position to do the same.

What CNS has done has not broken any rules, so what is their problem.

Anybody with half a brain knows that if you want 85 scholarship players by the time the dust is settled you had better sign more than you need.  I don't understand why those oversigning.com bozos can't figure that out.  But it is OK to lie to the NCAA about a player's eligibility so that you might have a chance to beat an SEC school in a bowl game for the first time.

When a carpenter builds a house, he estimates that he might need 436 2 x 4's.  Does he call the lumber yard and order 436 2 x 4's?  Of course not.  He probably says bring me about 450.  Then a decent building supply business will show up with 500 and tell him to call them when he is done and they will come get the extras to take back.

Boo Hoo Hoo, the big bad SEC beats the living snot out of us every bowl season.  Waaa Waaa Waa, it must be because they had 5 players get a medical scholarship after their injury.  If you practice like you mean it, there will be injuries.  If not, well then you get your tail kicked when you show up for a bowl game with a real opponent, not the other pansies in your league.
