Title: Blake Sims brings extra dimensions to Tide's backfield Post by: Jamos on August 11, 2011, 07:02:46 AM Bama may have found a "trump card" in Blake Sims. How many games have we seen the Bama offense sputter and go 3 and out so many times, especially in the second half. The second half problems are usually due to adjustments made by the opposing team or Bama playing it close to the vest.
Sims brings another dimension to this team, something that just might take care of those 3 and out issues the team goes through. He's got the feet and the pocket savy from the "wildcat" to take the opposing team out of their second half adjustments. Are we sure Dee Hart will return this season? Eligible for medical redshirt ( ???) even though injury occurred off-season. Regular red shirt? I'm not sure I see the point in starting him back on the fieeld in Oct/Nov and wasting the redshirt.
