The offensive line is sturdy, and Kelly’s role is steadier than an anchor.

“Ryan Kelly looks great,” senior running back Kenyan Drake said last week at SEC Media Days. “He’s definitely the brick of that offensive line, and we will definitely need him in our process of moving forward in becoming champions again because he is a pivotal part in our offensive line and our whole entire offensive scheme.”

I think our "O" line will be much improved this year. I'm hearing good things about all of them.

I hope so.  I'd like to see Bama effectively pound the rock this year.   #+

Cam, Kelly and crew should open some crater sized holes this year. Barring injury  :-X , I look for Derrick and The Drake to both be 1000 yd rushers.

I would hate to be a LB that has to take Henry down by myself... If any does that, my hat's off to him...

We've been young and inexperienced on the O-line the last two years.  Not this year.

As always, it depends on injury luck.  Our starters could be great.

Good reports on the backups too.

Our "O" line has the potential to be very good. We have two of the SEC's best linemen in Robinson and Kelly. They will be joined by three new starters with very little experience. Talent wise we should be better than last year. How quickly they come together and play as a unit will determine how good they can be. As Chech pointed out injuries are always a concern. We have good depth but replacing a lineman mid-year is harder than any other position on the field.

I want to see a dominate run game that has been missing the last couple of years. The passing game is fun but I like to line up and run the ball down the opponents throat. That is deflating to the defense and opens up the passing game.

These linemen can be good BUT are they mean enough to be good? They have to learn that not one play makes a game but 80 plays and being meaner than the other guys is key. RTR!

With Bozeman and Dom Jackson taking over (both of whom are strong road graders), I look for our run blocking to improve (and possibly go away from so much zone blocking, especially in short yardage).  Kelly is probably our weak link, at least from a physical standpoint.

I agree Kelly is our weak link from a physical standpoint but he has a high football IQ and is the undisputed leader on the "O" line.
