Title: Re: Ryan Kelly anchors offensive line Post by: pmull on July 21, 2015, 10:46:06 AM Our "O" line has the potential to be very good. We have two of the SEC's best linemen in Robinson and Kelly. They will be joined by three new starters with very little experience. Talent wise we should be better than last year. How quickly they come together and play as a unit will determine how good they can be. As Chech pointed out injuries are always a concern. We have good depth but replacing a lineman mid-year is harder than any other position on the field.
I want to see a dominate run game that has been missing the last couple of years. The passing game is fun but I like to line up and run the ball down the opponents throat. That is deflating to the defense and opens up the passing game. They have to learn that not one play makes a game but 80 plays and being meaner than the other guys is key. RTR!

Kelly is probably our weak link, at least from a physical standpoint.

I agree Kelly is our weak link from a physical standpoint but he has a high football IQ and is the undisputed leader on the "O" line. |
