Title: NCAA Hears Ohio State Case
Post by: Marshal Dillon on August 12, 2011, 08:56:08 PM
Seems like a short hearing to me.

Ohio State's hearing before the NCAA took only four hours. Now it must wait up to 12 weeks to find out how it will be penalized for rules broken by its football program.

Your signature line is offensive to some on this board. For the record, it does NOT bother me.

Truth is usually offensive to someone. Kinda like when Reagan called the Soviet Union the Evil Empire, a lot of liberals were upset about that.

I have always liked Winston Churchill. Back in 2004 they found Churchill's Parrot.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/3414323.stm

Charlie, a blue and yellow macaw, is spending his twilight years in a garden centre in Surrey but his owner Peter Oram says the bird used to live with Sir Winston Churchill in his heyday.

Mr Oram claims his father-in-law Percy Dabner sold Charlie to the former Prime Minister in 1937 and then took the bird back after his death in 1965

You didn't get the memo? It's OK to kill babies but making someone scroll down is off limits. I just pray none of them are offended by winning football or we won't be able to keep score. I just wanted to point out that your sig may cause some to stay in their room and cry.

Apparently the NCAA is still digging into allegations.  There may be more revealed during the upcoming weeks, so the NCAA wants to wait until it's all on the table before making decisions.  So far the penalties are all self-imposed offerings by OSU.  They don't include post-season penalties (YET; except the $$ returned for the bowl).
