Title: Alabama's first preseason scrimmage is today at Bryant-Denny Stadium Post by: pmull on August 13, 2011, 07:26:18 AM Today, the Crimson Tide returns to Bryant-Denny Stadium for the first of two scrimmages to determine which players possess the resiliency to make it through the preseason and beyond.
"Who can go out there and play with the kind of consistency and play winning football at their position?" Alabama coach Nick Saban asked. "Who can persevere and have the mental toughness and discipline to do their job? I think we need to find that out about a lot of our players. Some players around here have done that in the past. I think this scrimmage will also be a big day toward establishing the OL positions. I hope Vlachos is able to play today.
