Alabama has completed its first scrimmage of the preseason at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Here is a quick look at the statistics provided by Alabama's media relations. The scrimmage was closed to the public and the media though select guests were invited to attend.

CNS is toooo sharp, there are no QB stats and I bet the media thinks that just sucks.  ;)

I was hoping for QB stats but CNS is smart not releasing that info. Maze had a good day.

So, I guess they're saying, correct me if I'm wrong, Marquis was on fire. Jeez, who threw what to him? Mark Barron having to make 5 tackles? Sounds like an offensive day today. (That's what the media would be saying :D)

Look for Maze to lead the team in catches this year. He would have a lot more catches before this year had Julio not been at Bama.

Barron is a monster. Don't consider him only a last line of defense. He is a good run stopper.

The 5000+ cam was great today. I am not releasing stats either (lol). I am a little disappointed in our "d" for giving up those big catches, but pleased that Maze made them. RTR

I know with this 5000+ technology you can't tell us much but I have one question. Did BATR run over someones azz today.

Before you get too carried away Saban has been quoted that he is concerned about the OL. I guess he wanted 2300 yds and 20 TDs out of BATR.

What is 5000+ technology, why is important to me, and perhaps more importantly, is it offensive? :-\
