Drake, who was dressed but off to the side during the media viewing period, didn't participate on Saturday because of a strained hamstring. Saban didn't expect it to be a "big issue" and held Drake out of the scrimmage to avoid it becoming a chronic issue.

Black, who is expected to take on a bigger role this season, was limited again due to a twisted ankle he suffered at the start of fall practice. He had been limited all week due to the injury.

Receiver Robert Foster was the newest addition to the injury list after suffering a sprained knee toward the end of the scrimmage. ...

Well I was so hopeful that injuries would not be a part of this years team but it has already started. I know this you cannot win championships with injuries. It won't happen. I don't know how you prevent injuries? RTR!
