Those things have to be earned and if you have to point it out you probably are not what you think you are.
RGIII was OK before, not the best in the NFL, before the Skins played him when he was hurt a couple of years ago. He has never been the same since then. That type of thing would tend to help destroy his own self confidence. I personally like that he is being positive about his own ability. Now, I don't know about the way he said that, did he sound arrogant and cocky? Or was he just trying to be upbeat and confident? :dunno:

I don't think RG3 was trying to be arrogant judging by his tone, but I'm not really sure that actually SAYING this was necessary. Can you imagine, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, or Drew Brees saying something like this? In my opinion, if you really are the best, there is no need to try to convince someone that you are. I think RG3 is whistling past the graveyard right now.
