Lattimore was able to carry his team in the SEC as a freshman and managed to avoid injuries, so I have to give him credit. Both he and MFBATR are NFL caliper backs already. Hopefully Trent can be a dominant force in the SEC this year, avoid injuries, and win the Heisman, but I'll settle for a national championship.

I think people are forgetting that everything Trent has done so far was as a backup, while Lattimore was the go to guy for his team last year.

And I would not trade Trent for Lattimore. If you want to be the best, play against the best. So guys like LaMichael James and Monte Harris, while they might be excellent running backs, are not better than Lattimore or Trent, because they have not been tested week in and week out against the best run defenses in the country. So my list would begin and end with Lattimore and Trent. Everyone else is second-tier.

Understandable.... but you can't take away what Lattimore has done.... Lattimore had better stats than Ingram last year. If Richardson was a better back over Ingram , then he would have started.
