AL.com All-Access: SEC perhaps stronger than AP poll suggests

Sagarin rates Alabama the best team in the nation by a significant margin, and, according to his magic formula, the Crimson Tide currently would be a five-point favorite against Ohio State in a neutral-site game. Auburn is rated No.13 in the nation by Sagarin, and currently is about a 6 1/2-point underdog for the Iron Bowl....

My question is; Just how do we rate a big point favorite against the number one team in the nation? We all know that stuff is for the birds. We are usually rated over everybody but we have not won the NC in 3 years. I sometimes wonder if these people don't make up these ratings just to mess with the players heads. You take last year for instance, we Know we was better than tosu, but our players didn't take it serious enough even by their own account and we got beat. So, I just saying that this rating junk are people out for their own good. RTR!

Yep, that's why the games have to be played on the field instead of the papers...

At this very early stage in the season, I do think that Bama and Ohio State are the 2 best teams, but there is still too much football to be played to be crowning anyone champions yet.

I still hope that it's us and them playing each other in the playoffs, though. Sweet revenge!

Make that the championship game and that revenge will definitely be sweeter...  8)

That's how I see it, as long as OSU doesn't choke on too many cupcakes, and Bama survives the SEC street brawl.

I'm going to TRY to enjoy every game.
Been too long since Alabama had such a string of good teams!
