EC was driving for the tying score when their qb dropped the ball.  A Gator recovered the ball and started running toward another Gator TD when one of his own teammates tackled him.  It was as if he didn't realize the guy with the ball was a gator but rather a EC Pirate.  One of you interweb gurus needs to find a video of that and make a gif out of it for the world to enjoy...

I think he knew it was his teammate, and he tackled him so they could guarantee a victory, without risking a fumble.  You see defenders slide all the time late in the game on a turnover.  In this case it was an overreaction, I think.

Thank you.  For the most part they are a bunch of good folks that just love UF.  They were on the old GatorSports message board back when we were all on the TideSports board during 2008 and 2009.  They branched off to a private board and I was invited.  That board spawned another that I was invited to join which spawned even another that I was invited too.  I enjoy chatting with most of them a lot but they have also brought on an aTm fan, LSU fan, UGA fan (which is actually the wife of one of the gators) and I think there was a Vol fan at one time...

Hey that sounds like a lot of fun. I bet chatting with other team members fans is informative. RTR!

Well, I was going to say invite some of them over here and I would approve their account, but never mind.  I wouldn't mind having a few rival fans on here to talk sports with as long as they were civil and respectful about it, but I don't want any infighting.  Things are very peaceful on here and I certainly don't want to upset that apple cart.

Well, the particular gator board I go to now doesn't really talk much about sports.  They do have game threads where they talk about it but for the most part they (we) just discuss anything and everything... That particular board is mostly just a bunch of good people that couldn't hang around all the one's from previous boards that wanted to argue and insult...

Folks like that are always welcome here, regardless of what team they like.

It would be interesting to have sort of a civilized version of SEC Rant.  But I don't know if that is possible.  :dunno: :lol2:
