Title: Scores of Games Besides Alabama
Post by: Marshal Dillon on September 15, 2015, 07:40:56 PM
Auburn @ LSU  Neither team has looked impressive or even good. It's at LSU and I think their D is a little better. Score:  20-16 LSU

FSU @ BC  For some reason, this game is compelling to me. BC seems to give FSU a fight most times even when losing. I don't think FSU covers the spread (-8) & maybe even loses straight up.
Score:  27-20 FSU

Georgia Tech @ Notre Dame  Tough pick. Tech is 1 dimensional on the O but ND lost their starting QB for season. Tech defense was bad last year.
Score:  31-30 Ga. Tech

Florida @ Kentucky  Another tough pick. UF won last year, so they have to be better this year. The UK win over USC was not impressive.
Score: 27-17 Florida

Nebraska @ Miami  Two programs going in a circle. Hard to figure these teams out.
Score:  27-24 Miami (don't feel good about this pick)

Anyone have any comments on these teams or other games.

I look for auburn to try and return to what some think is a good team. I also like you think being in the Valley will cost them this week so I go with LSU by 10.

FSU thinks they are good if you don't believe them just ask Danny Kanell. I think the surprise is BC by 7 points to be them.

Ga. Tech will upset ND because the ND offense will have to revamp. GA Tech and their downhill offense will win it by 3 points.

Miami and Nebraska, I have no idea. This game has no outlook to me. I am scared of this one.

I think Fla. will come alive. Fla by 10 over Kentucky. I think Coach Stoops might be feeling heat after this year.
RTR!

Whoa! Neither offense impresses me. Neither has a QB worth a flip so a 10 point victory means Auburn was pretty much shut down.

Great games this weekend, but tough pickings.

You failed to mention South Carolina v. Georgia, which has a monster spread for that matchup.  And BYU v. UCLA -- BYU has won two in a row as underdogs.

MD the reasoning behind my LSU by 10 is the young guy Fournette. I don't think the auburn defense will stop him at all. I think will allow the QB to go short and do the Jax State did only LSU is better. I do agree with neither being impressive but the ground game does it I think. RTR!

Yeah, I got tired of typing & wanted someone else to contribute. Those are interesting games, no doubt. I picked S.C. due to the spread, but Georgia will still win & it's at Georgia. BYU is hot & UCLA is too up & down & a 16.5 point spread is ridiculous. I picked BYU.

These are 2 games I am just plain scared of this year. Reason: All the years Ga. should have blown S.C. out they turn out to lose. I guess Spurrier has a horseshoe in his pocket.
BYU I picked because they play 60 minutes as witnessed by their last 2 games. UCLA usually gets all this press then falters, and I am not really sure about either one of those. RTR!
