Title: Auburn Death March; USCe v. Georgia, GT v. ND, afternoon games
Post by: Catch Prothro on September 19, 2015, 02:42:56 PM
LSU's first play, Fournette up the middle, 76 yard game.  First and Goal LSU.

Can't believe Fournette couldn't beat that last guy -- he even had a blocker.

6 minutes left.

1. Ohio State
2. TCU
3. LSU (beat his beloved Barn)
4. N. Illinois -- played toe-to-toe with the best team in the nation, on the road.   :lol2:

I thought I had that pick covered, 33-10 in the fourth quarter, and Nebraska has tied the game and sent it to OT.

When there's OT with a 3.5 point spread, three things can happen, and two of them aren't good.

Miami blows a 23 point lead in the fourth quarter.  Gets the ball down to the 2 yard line in OT but are called for illegal procedure so opts to center the ball for the winning FG, thus winning by 3.

I am never picking Miami again.   :wall:

I wonder if USCe would ever fire him... he's taken them to a whole new level.  Even a lousy Spurrier coached South Carolina team is better than most other teams the fans have seen.

But I do think Spurrier appears to be on the decline, his goal of reaching the SECCG is getting more and more out of reach.  Georgia is back, Florida is getting better, even Kentucky has beaten SC two years in a row now.

When steve superior was at fla, they hated him,,now as their coach, they just tolerate him..USCe does not have, will never have, a winning tradition.  win 6-7 games and go to a bowl, they are happy.
