It is really hard to know what to expect.  We know nothing about Ole Miss because of the schedule they have played so far.

I expect OM will have some early success moving the ball and get a few points.  Then Bama defense will tighten up, and offense will wear Ole Miss down.  Bama wins comfortably in the end.

I see Bama getting in Chad Kelly's face, getting him rattled, he's not going to have all day to sit in the pocket and throw to wide open receivers -- and I'm not sure he will be able to adjust quickly enough to the speed of the game.

I think the QB play is much better tonight than last week.

They're YOUNG.  It takes experience.  Patience!

Team's struggling in all areas but defense, but they've averted disaster so far.  Bateman's looked decent for a first start against a very good team.

I think #13 ran the wrong route, and besides that he was loafing.  That is not the first time I have seen him doing that this year.  In fact he does it several plays each game.

We need to keep throwing it to Mullaney, #16. He's a senior and an experienced WR. Make Ole Miss stop him.

I have seen us come back many times in my 70 years..but if they do not get it together, this won't be another.

I think we are all tired of Lame. his game plan has no pizzazz.  

The bad: Special teams could not have been much worse, gave Ole Miss 10 free points. Robert Foster may be out.  Down by a touchdown with Ole Miss getting the ball back.

The good: Defense has been solid, not giving up any big plays.  The offense has been on the field more 20 minutes; Ole Miss defense should wear down in the second half if this continues.  Coker looked unsettled, BUT led the team down the field on a long TD drive.

If Bama stops shooting themselves in the foot I think they pull out the win.  That's a big if right now though.

Yeah, we're being beaten badly on special teams.

BUT THAT JUST CHANGED ON THE KICKOFF!!

Halftime report.

The defense looks great.  

Special teams (kick return) look terrible.  Why are we still running kickoffs out of the end zone.  Bama has not shown it can get decent yardage on kick returns in the first two games, and now we have two turnovers on kick returns leading to ten points for OM.  I could rant on and on, but really there is not much that hasn't already been said.

Offense.  What is Kiffin thinking?  Are we so desperate and afraid of Ole Miss that we have to try trick plays, instead of doing those things that Bama does well?  I really don't understand what we are doing on offense.  (Hate to say it, but I agree with sbo).  Also not sure why we started Bateman, who has no starts, against a tough SEC team on prime time.  If that was the plan, we should have started him against M Tn State.  Why the slow developing, around end plays close to the end zone against a fast defense?  Why, when Bateman was in the game, didn't Bama try, at least once, a QB keeper on the zone read, which has been open all game?  Really bad job by the OC in this game so far.  My opinion of Kiffin has gone way down.

Anyway, enough of a halftime rant.  I'm disappointed with the coaching on the offensive and special teams side of the ball

I know that's not what they're taught, from watching prior CB play at Bama.  But they're young and still not there yet.

Bama just does not look like a well coached team on offense.

The ball is definitely not bouncing Bama's way.  Two fumbles for Bama, OM's BS TD chunk into the air, Kelly's fumble and recovery...   I think Bama is the better team overall, but against a closely matched team, it's hard to recover from so much adversity. 

We can still win this, but I'm starting to get concerned about the time left, considering how long it's taking us to put together any kind of drives.  We've got to have at least 3 more scoring possessions.

They made the right call on the pass.  However, the same freeze frame that shows he was behind the line also shows his lineman 5 yards down field blocking.

The exact same thing happened in the LSU game today.

Too many mistakes.  I don't know if anybody in the SEC will go undefeated.  I saw some saying the other day that the SEC champ could have 2 losses.  It's going to be a long, winding season.

I think if we could have three WR''s lineup behind each other. 1st one goes straight up the field with the other two go following about 15 yards apart. If we aim for the one in the middle. Then we might have a chance of hitting one of them.... >:(
