TUSCALOOSA, Alabama - How many true freshmen will play this season for Alabama?

Some decisions will be made soon, coach Nick Saban said after Saturday's scrimmage.

"I think after we look at this film and go through another week of practice, we'll probably decide somewhere Thursday or Friday of next week who these guys are," Saban said.

"I've got some idea right now, but I don't really want to throw it out there and it changes."

Saban mentioned no names.

Good article.  Vinnie still is impressing the coaches (take that, star counters).
I was just about to post it too.

I look for DePriest, HaHa, and Vinnie to all be regulars on special teams and play the 4th quarters of games that aren't in jeopardy.

No way can we redshirt Kouandjio, even if he doesn't crack the starting rotation.  There's no way we can keep that guy around for 5 years, so a redshirt is pointless.

Christion Jones sounds like he'll get some work in the slot and possibly as a return guy(?).

I'm not sure as yet but one person it sounds like will get playing time this year is D. White. He is going to be a go to WR. RTR!
