Title: Tennessee dismisses Pig Howard Post by: Hannibal Lecter, MD on October 07, 2015, 01:42:56 PM Our rivals are in disarray
Quote KNOXVILLE -- Tennessee wide receiver Pig Howard has been dismissed from the football program for violating team rules, head coach Butch Jones announced at his press conference today. "That's between the student-athlete and ourselves, but we were just made aware of that today," he said. Howard led the Volunteers in receiving in 2013 and 2014, but he played in only two games this season. After he served a one-game suspension, also for a violation of team rules dating back to the offseason, in the opener against Bowling Green, Howard played against Oklahoma and Western Carolina. He suffered a concussion against the Catamounts and didn't play against Florida or Arkansas. He's also been slowed by ankle and elbow injuries, Jones said previously. http://www.timesfreepress.com/news/sports/college/story/2015/oct/07/breaking-pig-howard-dismissed-tennessee-vols/329239/ Title: Re: Tennessee dismisses Pig Howard Post by: Chechem on October 07, 2015, 01:49:24 PM Sounds more like he's been battered and used up.

This reminds me of a couple of plays in the UGa game where our DB's lit the receivers up with perfect timing. Jamos said they prolly went back to the sideline and said "Coach, we don't want you to call that play anymore". :lol2: Title: Re: Tennessee dismisses Pig Howard Post by: Chechem on October 07, 2015, 01:56:10 PM That makes two impact players dismissed from our rival teams this week...
