The future looks bright. 8)There was an article posted on SB Nation in late September after the Tide lost to Ole Miss. The headline was a question: "Is this the end of Alabama's dynasty?" Not yet. That was clear this past Saturday.... This is a team with numerous talented young players already making an impact. Title: Re: "What did win over Georgia show about Alabama's long-term future?" Other than AJ and Blake for one year, CNS hasn't recruited a QB who has worked out. Just seems to be a weak spot in recruiting. If he continues to get better every week, I don't see there being anymore QB issues this year. Next year, we have Barnett, who is likely to be very good, and Jalen Hurt, who may compete right away. I think our future looks pretty bright there, too. Title: Re: "What did win over Georgia show about Alabama's long-term future?" Not sure how it's a weak spot when the two guys you mentioned achieved extraordinary success and five games into the first season without them Coker has looked better every week. He really didn't look too terrible playing v. Ole Miss with a fever either. :popcorn2: Title: Re: "What did win over Georgia show about Alabama's long-term future?" Time after time he made plays to get Bama in a position to win the game and if it hadn't been for the infamous no flag, Bama does win the game. I think the team has improved in so many areas of their game since playing Ole Miss and if they should continue this improvement in their regular season games left, they will make the playoffs which would take them to their next national championship. |
