Obviously Richardson, Alshon Jeffrey, and Lattimore will be in the remaining 4. Who's the other? Knile Davis or am I missing someone very obvious? I'm just predicting the order as I think they will select them. I agree with you, by the end of the year (and I assume they will do this again post season and compare the lists), Richardson will be known as the consensus top player in the SEC. I also think we'll have at least a couple more guys to make the top 25. Dre, Menzie, Lester, Chapman, Jesse Williams, Quinton Dial, Nico Johnson, CJ Mosley, Maze, DeAndrew White, whoever our QB is, Eddie Lacy - I could see any of those guys making the post season list. No. 1: Alshon Jeffery, WR, South Carolina 2010 numbers: He was a finalist for the Biletnikoff Award, presented to nation's top receiver and a first-team All-America as selected by AFCA, FWAA, Phil Steele and ESPN.com. Jeffery was also named a second-team All-American by Walter Camp, Associated Press, Sports Illustrated and CollegeFootballNews.com, and was a unanimous first-team All-SEC selection. Jeffery set the single-season school records in both receptions (88) and receiving yards (1,517) and led the SEC in receiving yards per game (108.4). He was second in receptions per game (6.29) and had eight games with 100-plus receiving yards. |
