Title: MLB Post-Season Play
Post by: Marshal Dillon on October 14, 2015, 07:41:49 PM
Wild game in Toronto with Blue Jays beating Rangers 6-3. They now advance to ALCS. In a few hours we will know if they play KC or Astros. Astros lead 2-0 in 3rd inning.

I've watched a LOT of post-season MLB in my lifetime.  I don't remember anything as wild as the 7th inning between the Rangers and Jays.

It was wild & bizarre. The MLB playoffs are usually pretty good, especially the NLCS/ALCS.

The Royals and Astros played the wildest game the other night. It was like all of a sudden the Royals was shot out of a cannon. I then, see where the Bluejays come on to win a great game also. I would never have picked the Bluejays to be anywhere close to the playoffs. I did at the first of the year pick the Royals and Rangers/Orioles to be in the playoffs but I missed on the O's. I sure didn't pick the Mets in the NL nor the Cubs for sure. It has been a different year though. We may get to see some baseball played in the snow in Chicago this year. RTR!

The only team that I can pull for in good conscience still left in the playoffs are the Cubbies. I would love to tell my grandchildren that I actually saw the Cubs when the WS.

The 2004 American League Championship Series was the Major League Baseball playoff series to decide the American League champion for the 2004 season. It was played between the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees, at Fenway Park and the original Yankee Stadium, from October 12 to 20, 2004. The Red Sox became the first team in MLB history to lose the first three games and win the next four to win a seven-game series.

I was sure hoping the Cubs would make the WS this year but maybe they do still have a chance. I know crazier things have happened. RTR!

Cubs down 0-2 in games with the Mets in NLCS. They play game 3 tonight in Cubsville.

KC killing Blue Jays 12-2 in game 4 of NLCS right now. They are about to go up 3-1 in the ALCS.

Well, the Cubs lost 5-2 to Mets. Mets up 3 games to none. Tomorrow could end it for the Cubs. Too bad, it would have been great to see them in the World Series.

Great game between KC & Blue Jays this afternoon. Jays showed power & won 7-1. Series is 3-2 with KC leading. They play game 6 in KC on Friday.

Cubs pulling an El Foldo trailing 6-0 after 2 innings. Mets lead series 3-0, so Cubs must win or go home. Mets have totally dominated the Cubs in this series.

And who can like the Mets.

Cardinals blew a 3-1 Series lead & KC won Series. Fascinating series. Both teams loaded with players. Cardinals with Darrell Porter, Willie McGee, Wizard of Oz, Andujar, Pendleton, Jack Clark, Tudor, etc.
Royals had George Brett, Frank Wilson, Hal McRae, Saberhagen, Quissenberry, Leibrandt, & others. KC was a very veteran team & this was basically their last hurrah.
