No SEC teams in the top 4 is total bull.

That's because we're up against the mighty Big 12 of Texas Tech, Texas, Iowa State, Kansas, K-State, Oklahoma State, & West Virginia. Can you imagine playing such a powerhouse conference. Plus, no extra conference championship game. No way we can compete against such power.

Florida could beat everybody in the top 4.

My question is, this is not the committee who makes this ranking is it? RTR!

Nope. The football committee vote is what counts.

Baylor has looked good this season, but no way TCU belongs at #4.  This is just the press trying to make up for that conference being left out last year, and trying to get maximum hype when the two teams play.

Did you see Baylor play this week?  Their defense is worse than Auburn's, so there is that.  No wonder they need to score 60+ points per game.  Also, keep in mind that the 60+ points is against all of the other cupcake defenses of the Big 12.  Bottom line, there really is no way to know if Baylor could hang with a "normal" football team until they play one.  Basically they get a free pass to the playoffs, where they may or may not be able to compete.  Baylor might be a pretty good team, but since they are playing high school teams there is no way to know at this point.

Good point. Also, while we kill ourselves against LSU, A&M, Georgia, Miss. State, Arkansas, & others, they coast without breaking a sweat.

With luck, Bama will be matched up with TCU in the first round of the playoffs!

Hey KoKo I really hope we get to do some pay back. I hope tosu is around and we get them in the first round again. The only team I worry about at this time if they make it is Clemson. Coach Dabo has the horseshoe and it is golden. His team speed I am afraid might be a little more than ours, I am sure of this. JMHO. RTR!

Baylor & TCU play each other (I think).  That will effectively be a conf champ game.

tOSU will play MSU which will take one of them down.  Then tOSU plays Mich. so we'll see what happens there.

We get LSU.

So that will take down the number of undefeateds.

Let's see where we are after the LSU game.

Let's just hope that the nightmare scenario doesn't play out where Ole Miss beats LSU and wins out to go to the SECCG, and then win that. It would effectively eliminate the SEC from the playoffs.

I don't see Ole Miss winning out. They are smallish on offense & especially defense & will wear down. They still play Arkansas, A&M, & Miss. State along with LSU. I see at least 2 more losses. I didn't mention Auburn & their great offense.
