Title: Jake Coker Nicknames Post by: Catch Prothro on October 24, 2015, 12:19:21 PM Not a huge fan of the Coker nicknames. Baby Roethlisberger, Vanilla Vick, or the worst one, Cam Cracker. These guys can play but have character issues.
Jake McNabb would work for a running QB. Steve Young was a great running QB, but what kind of nickname can you get from that? How about Jake Starr? Broadway Jake or Jake Willie? (Really not much positive you can do with "Coker"). Bear Jake (his first name is Bryant, maybe Bryant Jake would work). Quote Reggie Ragland has taken to calling him "Baby Roethlisberger" a reference to Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. A spoonerism would be a funny name for him; Cake Joker.
