Title: Florida State and Utah Lose! Post by: Catch Prothro on October 24, 2015, 10:17:42 PM In case you missed it, Georgia Tech beat Florida State, and USC beat Utah.
While these teams probably were due to lose to stronger competition later in the season (FSU to Clemson and/or Florida; Utah to UCLA and/or Stanford), it's nice to see them join the ranks of the beaten. Bama should move up at least one spot in the rankings (FSU was already ranked behind Bama even though undefeated). Title: Re: Florida State and Utah Lose! Clemson looks like the real deal. I'm thinking they will run the table and be in the playoff. Title: Re: Florida State and Utah Lose! Clemson has a good shot to win out and make the playoffs. And after their victory over beloved ND, they will get in if undefeated.Clemson looks like the real deal. I'm thinking they will run the table and be in the playoff. Undefeated winner of BIG10, OSU or MSU, will get in. Big12 Winner, if undefeated, will get in, especially since they had two teams allegedly left out last year. Note Baylor QB has fractured vertebrae in his neck. That only leaves one spot for SEC, PAC12, ND. Between these, an undefeated or one loss SEC team should be the 4th. Clemson took care of ND, with that game acting as an unofficial play-in. Utah's loss was bigger than FSU, because there now are no undefeated teams in the PAC12, and that loss may have eliminated the conference. Title: Re: Florida State and Utah Lose! Title: Re: Florida State and Utah Lose! Post by: 2Stater on October 25, 2015, 08:31:24 AM Clemson is still just Auburn with a lake.
Title: Re: Florida State and Utah Lose! Post by: Catch Prothro on October 25, 2015, 08:32:21 AM Most of the talking heads this morning have Clemson, Baylor, LSU and Ohio State as the playoff teams. With LSU being the convenient pick pending that game with Bama in two weeks.
You gotta love Jason Sehorn. His current playoff teams are: 1. Clemson, 2. LSU, 3. Bama, 4. Ohio State. Really those are probably the four best teams in the country.
