Title: College Football Final
Post by: Catch Prothro on November 15, 2015, 11:25:26 AM
Well this show seems to have gotten better with Joe Tessitore.  Galloway has eaten some humble pie and begrudgingly is on the Bama bandwagon somewhat (putting Bama at #3).  Still too much of a OSU homer.  There is no sign of Danny Kannell.  They even brought in Herbstreit last night for some analysis.

It will never be the same show without Rece, May and Holtz, but ESPN must be paying attention to the feedback.

No, they are responding to reality. Statements like, "the ACC is the best conference" (Kanell) lead to folks mocking the show & Kanell. Finebaum is relentless in teasing Kanell and Galloway about their homerism and dumb statements. Kanell has backed off his comments because they are so absurd, even though he's on the Clemson bandwagon to show how good the ACC is.

By "feedback" I mean ratings.    ;D

Finebaum has done a great job poking fun at those guys though.

I watch it every week.  It has gotten better.  Joe has been on his case about the rankings for a long time now, especially when he didn't even have Bama in the top 6.

Also, Herby does that segment every week and that helps too.

They dropped Kanell after the first week I think.

The College Football Sunday show that you told me about is 1000 times better than this garbage though.

Yes, College Football Sunday is worthy.  I enjoyed it.  I watched CFF too, but it's lacking.  Just no energy in the show, plus the idiocy of ranking OSU first regardless.  I'm hoping they lose to MSU, UM, and Iowa (if that's possible -- guess not).
