Title: Hoover over South Panola MS Post by: Chechem on August 27, 2011, 07:36:20 PM What was the final score of the Hoover game (looked like SP didn't show up)? The last I saw was 24-6 but it was not final. 24-13. SP scored late and kicked PAT, instead of going for 2. I watched the first half, then we had to leave for a party. Same old South Panola; lots of raw talent and not much coordination. Their kicking game has been inadequate for YEARS. Hoover played like a team should play. SP played like a team without a game plan. What did the 2nd half look like? SP played like a team without a game plan. What did the 2nd half look like? You are correct about their kicking game. They had a player that was 270 lbs kicking off into the endzone. Hoover controled the game 2nd half. Hoover could pass and SP struggled passing. Then Hoover brought up the secondary and stopped the run. SP had no answer. It was a good game but Carrollton, GA is a great high school team. They run what is known as the Notre Dame Box and Oxford beat those guys tells me they have a great football team this year. RTR!

We (Austin High School) have to play Oxford in three weeks. That game worries me a lot. |
