Title: Chip Kelly in Trouble in Philly Post by: Marshal Dillon on November 23, 2015, 03:31:18 PM Can you say, USC, Miami, or LSU, maybe even Oregon, again?
Quote The sky is officially falling in Philadelphia in the wake of the Eagles’ embarrassing 45-17 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. If things continue along this path over the final six games of the season, a coaching change could come sooner rather than later. On Monday’s edition of “First Take,” Stephen A. Smith claimed he has spoken to people who cover the NFL and heard the same thing several times — many of Kelly’s players don’t like him. http://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/report-many-eagles-players-dislike-chip-kelly/ar-BBnlFgn?li=BBnb7Kz :dog: Title: Re: Chip Kelly in Trouble in Philly Post by: 2Stater on November 23, 2015, 03:54:24 PM Can you say, USC, Miami, or LSU, maybe even Oregon, again? He has changed the NFL, no one will use his ideas for offense after it's failure to deal with pro defenses. Remember that 2010 game against Auburn? Their defense was mediocre at best that year and they had no trouble stopping the mighty ducks. Great point. Playing Oregon State, Washington State, Cal, Washington, Colorado, etc., didn't hurt, either. Title: Re: Chip Kelly in Trouble in Philly Post by: ricky023 on November 23, 2015, 06:37:26 PM He won't to LSU cause he don't want to have to play this schedule week in and week out. Plus recruiting CNS would own Louisiana. RTR!

Remember that 2010 game against Auburn? Their defense was mediocre at best that year and they had no trouble stopping the mighty ducks. LSU played Oregon in 2011, winning 40-27, after a late Oregon TD. Similarly, Ohio State beat Oregon 42-20 in the championship game last year. It's like Gus' offense, a gimmick that won't last. The same things win that always win... Stephen A. is a complete idiot. Big time sports reporter from Baton Rouge told Finebaum that Miles was out. Also, Miles did a news conference & sounded like a whipped dog. Spoke in the past tense. I think this was the most telling thing about the Oregon offense of all. It could score only 19 points on a very average SEC defense. It also spoke volumes about the quality of D's in the PAC-12. |
