Title: Army v Navy
Post by: Catch Prothro on December 12, 2015, 04:50:12 PM
This is a pretty good game.  Navy 21  Army 17.  Start of the 4th Quarter, Army football.

Navy has won 13 in a row.  Can they make it 14?

A couple of years ago, Army was driving for the winning score. The QB turned it over. He was devastated. It broke my heart to see him reduced to tears. I've been pulling for them since.

sounds like today's game , two INT's and a QB fumble from center on
their last 3 possessions

Army played a great game, especially on defense.  I truly don't care which team wins but since Navy was holding a 13 game win-streak I was kind of hoping Army would win today...Regardless, I am proud of our service academies...  #+

Yeah, Army self-destructed.  Three turnover drives in Navy territory to close out the game.

On the drive before those three turnover drives, Army got to around the Navy 10 yard line when the Army QB made a bad decision and ran backwards trying to avoid a tackle.  Army ended up third and long, almost converted, went for a 27 yard FG and missed.  So four wasted drives when they were down by 4 points.

Army had more yards, more time of possession and still lost.
