In 1992 I had a trade association meeting in Chicago. It was the third weekend in October and we were playing Tenn. We did not know how good we were yet and Tenn was favored to win. The game coverage was regional at that time and I had the hotel concierge find me a sports bar that could get the game. It was Ditka's. Several of my buddy's made the short cab ride with me to Ditka's to watch the game. We were the only table watching the Bama game, some Big Ten game was on. I had all my buddy's pulling for Bama and we were making a lot of noise. By the end of the game the entire bar was Bama fans. One of the best times I have ever had watching a game on TV.

I have a friend in New Mexico. He lives in a small town named Socorro. He has gotten all his friends turned into Alabama fans. He said the state teams suck. He buys ESPN College ticket to watch the Tide Roll. Friends all come over and pull for Bama. He was here for a reunion the first of August. Now he said his friends are buying ESPN College ticket to watch the Tide. Ha ha.

On my bucket list is to watch a Bama game at this place, in Chicago...
