Clemson has wilted in the Fourth Quarter against several teams this year, and they've been outscored in the 4th 99-90 over the season. Given that Bama and Henry really start dominating in the 4th Quarter after wearing teams down, I have to think that if the game isn't settled by the 4th Quarter, Clemson will fall then.
Quote A few of the Tigers' tight wins involved surviving late-game rallies. They beat South Carolina 37-32 after the Gamecocks outscored the ACC champions 22-9 in the final 15:08. North Carolina held a 21-10 edge in the last 16:39 of the ACC title game that Clemson won 45-37. And the Tigers' early signature 24-22 win over then-No. 6 Notre Dame saw the Irish roll up 19 fourth-quarter points to Clemson's 3. Even Syracuse (4-8) outscored Clemson 10-6 in the second half of a 37-27 Tiger win. http://www.al.com/alabamafootball/index.ssf/2016/01/why_4th_quarters_have_been_qui.html#incart_article_small Title: Re: "There's a big difference in 4th-quarter performances at Alabama, Clemson" Post by: BillBrosky on January 06, 2016, 06:19:51 AM There's a big difference in 4th-quarter performances at Alabama, Clemson
