But Williams said Saturday that he's undecided on whether to stay in school or turn pro.

Williams, who has 10.5 sacks during the last 11 games despite being only a situational pass rusher, said he got a late first or early second round grade from the NFL Draft Advisory Committee...

Saban "strongly advised" Williams to return to school.

Saban and others have told Williams how much it would benefit him to stay for his senior season and show that he can be a productive every down player...

Maybe we celebrated his return too early!!   :(

Hard for a kid to turn down 1st round/early 2nd round money.  Hopefully the coaches can convince him to come back and work for high 1st round money next year.

True.
It worries me, because these agents push players to turn pro asap.  And how good is Williams without the defensive push of A'Shawn et al.?

I haven't seen any of the mock drafts with him going in the first round.  Not that they ever come close to getting things right, but I just don't think he yet has the name recognition or resume to warrant leaving this year.  But the advisory comes the NFL, not an agent blowing smoke up his posterior.

IMO they do a bad job of advising the players. The mock draft comes closer to getting it right than the advisory board does. It would be interesting to see how many 1st round evaluations they gave out.

I hope his stock goes way up after Monday night, and he decides to stay.
