And that is always an exciting time for Bama fans. I expect that we will all be very happy when that day is over and done with and that we will once again have the top ranked recruiting class.  If not then it will be very close.  What I am looking forward to more than that though is the annual A-Day game.  This is an event that my kids and I look forward to every year as a chance to get away and watch some free football by our favorite team. Plus, many times we get to see some other Bama fans that have become friends of ours; Jamos being the one that we've enjoyed being around the most.  I have been fortunate enough to get to every single A-Day game since a couple of years before Coach Saban was hired with the exception of last year's game.  I chose not to go to that because they were predicting a lot of rain and I just didn't want to have to sit in the rain.  Turned out to be a really nice day in Tuscaloosa so I've been kicking myself for not going... and no, I DO NOT have any football eligibility left...  Anyways, many times that I've gone to the A-Day game the kids and I have gone with Jamos and watched the Bama Softball team play.  Fun times... That begs the question, when will the A-Day game be this year?  It is usually around the 3rd Saturday in April, give or take...This year the 3rd Saturday is the 16th and the Tide softball team will be playing aTm in College Station, TX. The 4th Saturday will be the 23rd and the softball team will be playing UK in Tuscaloosa.  If CRS had a REC representative with lots of influence maybe we could get him/her to persuade Coach Saban to schedule the A-Day to be held on the 23rd of April... You know the one thing I like to get from recruiting every year is the proper players for proper positions. I don't care not one thing about the #1 recruiting class as they call it. The best player in high school football can become ours but with the proper coaching they ain't gonna win anything in the SEC or NC. The first year CNS was here he had CMS recruits and he cleaned up and cleaned out the wrong people and still went to a bowl game and won if I remember right. Yea I know, the Independence Bowl but it started from there. This is why all these early commits with early enrolling or LOI's don't impress me at all. RTR!
