Quote The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows that 19% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-one percent (41%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -22 (see trends). When tracking President Obama’s job approval on a daily basis, people sometimes get so caught up in the day-to-day fluctuations that they miss the bigger picture. To look at the longer-term trends, Rasmussen Reports compiles the numbers on a full-month basis. For the full month of August, the president’s ratings fell to the lowest levels of his time in office. Data released earlier this week showed that, during August, confidence in the labor market fell to the lowest level in a year. |
