And why you think so.

I think Sims has better leadership ability.

I'll vote after game.  :dunno:

There should be at least another (3rd string) QB and a potential luncheon item.

I had actually added Blake Sims and Phillip Ely, but took them off. The controversy will come between P. Sims and A.J.

I voted AJ simply because of experience. RTR!

Voting should take place after today's game. This is to be an evaluation of how they performed during the game.

You started the poll too early.

I guess it threw everybody off where I asked the question "Which QB do you think performed the best in today's game".  :eyeroll:

Wait 'til after the game, Preacher. You may not have to change your vote.  :D

So far McArron I know he had the int, but both had balls sail on 'em. Sims was lucky that his was through the end zone.

Definitely McCarron.

Sims looks like McCarron did last year.  He needs another year in the system before he really knows it.

Should I vote Sims as an offering of peace to him?  I'm doing it.

I voted for Sims before the game started. Can I change my vote to AJ?

It was the wind.  AJ is better in the wind.

Next week is in a hurricane.  Sims should win there.

I just finished watching the game, and I would have to say AJ did better today- to my surprise.  I think he really won some bonus points when he started dumping it off to the running back a couple of times there in the 2nd half.  The AJ from last year would have tried to force the ball down the field instead of dumping it off and letting the RB turn it up field for a nice gain and first down.

Tropical Storm Lee is heading up the East Coast.  Be in PA by Sat.

Definitely think AJ had the better game today. He just looked sharper and a little more confident to me. Could have been just first game jitters for PS, but he just seemed off. Of course, neither was absolutely amazing. Way to many picks against an inferior team. Can't throw that many INTs against PSU.

If AJ is better in the wind, wouldn't he be MUCH better in a hurricane?

PS is still a little late with the ball.  hscoach first pointed this out in practice film back in the spring.  Maybe he still is not quite used to the speed of the college game.

Andre Ware also said he is a little late with his passes. I am a Sims fan but AJ looked a good bit better today. Five turnovers and four int's will get the coaches attention.

I am indifferent, but I was expecting Sims to do better today.  It seems like AJ settled in and starting doing pretty good towards the end of the game.  Maybe after PS made some mistakes it took a little pressure off of AJ.

Well we saw today that AJ was a bit better. Now what do you think of our future, PS has our future securely in his hands and I think he will be a STAR. I do however have one request against PSU let's open up the offense. RTR!

I'm assuming the PS votes came before the game, because AJM was clearly better on the  field.  AJ made quicker reads and got the ball out faster.  Sims' timimg was off; I honestly expected him to do better.

The one thing that strikes me is the genius of Saban.  He gave Sims his shot, Sims just didn't perform and clearly needs more time to develop.  That should keep Sims satisfied (and not seeking transfer) this year, and it also will keep the fans and press from second-guessing Saban for starting AJ.
