Did they get to sign a bunch of extra players to fill out their roster?

Did they get to sign a bunch of extra players to fill out their roster? I think they signed 43, but only 25 were counted for rankings purposes. They don't play till 2017. Title: Re: Final Team Recruiting Rankings of Other Football Teams Post by: ricky023 on February 05, 2016, 02:40:46 PM 20. Oklahoma
21. Miami (Mark Richt) 22. Michigan State 23. TCU 24. Nebraska 28. Oregon 32. Wisconsin 37. Louisville (Petrino) 39. West Virginia 41. Virginia Tech (Beamer got out of town quick) These are the teams that really capture my attention. First Oklahoma: I thought they would get good players and along with Miami-I thought CMR might really do good there. The rest through this list are big name teams and to be this low on the recruiting pole really surprises me. Since we all know that recruiting is how you get to playoffs and play for NC's. RTR! FIFY, I count two Big12 teams below UAB. 247 SPORTS RANKINGS 65. UAB 71. Illinois (Big Ten) 73. Kansas State (Big12) 79. Purdue (Big Ten) 88. Kansas (Big12) Big 12 & Big 10 looking really impressive. UAB beat out 2 Big 10 teams & As to ricky's post, Richt did very well considering how little time he had to recruit at Miami. Also, keep in mind that the SEC takes up 1/2 the top spots. Oregon TCU, Michigan State, these are sometimes playoff teams that traditionally recruit in the 20s level (or lower). |
