I thought one of AJ's wasn't really his fault, just a little bad luck.  But I honestly can't remember.  Oh well, I guess I will have to watch the game again tomorrow.

I thought AJ did a better job of leading the team. PS holds the ball to long with his downfield reads.

The first three quarters was used to improve the passing game. In the fourth with such a large lead, Alabama just ran the ball. AJ over all played better than Sims and he should have, he has more experience. When AJ over throw that long ball to his reciever deep early in game that had double coverage, he had a receiver wide open down the sidelines for 6 with no coverage. AJ should be further along than he is playing.

I think they will continue to play Sims because he has more talent tham AJ. He is a gifted athlete, and it shows on the field. He needs to release the ball sooner. Just needs to gain experience. CNS went off on AJ on the sidelines for the turnovers and forcing his passes into double coverage. CNS did not blowup on the younger QB Sims as much. Both QBs held the ball too long.  Sims would have scored on his run around left tackle if he would have decided sooner. CK-Cujo had his DE smashed into the ground and was laying on top of him. That is how it looked to me from section L.

Good insight.  We don't get any details on all of those sideline interactions from watching on TV.

I was more dissapointed with the run blocking of the offensive line than I was with the play of the QBs, they were very inconsistant.

I agree.  This is very disappointing after the issues we had last year.  We are going to have to be able to run the ball at will to be successful, no matter who we line up against.  If we can't do that against Kent State, then that is a concern.

Has any team become great using alternative quarterbacks?

I think you will see the rotating QB system go away pretty soon. CNS is sticking by his word of giving both an equal chance, which I think helps with recruiting other players in the future, AJ put some separation between the two of them yesterday.

Well I only got to listen to the 2nd half thanks to MBD. He helped me get downloaded but what I did hear was EL having fun and it sounded as if our O-line had a bad day blocking. No way would we wanted to have played LSU yesterday in MHO. RTR! RTR!
