That's what's killing the trees. They're suffocating them with Charmin.

During the third QT at BDS, I tuned my radio to listen to the boogers game. When UTAH went up with 4 minutes to go, the booger announcers, conceded that the game was lost. They reported that half the stands were empty. Then when they won the game with 30 seconds left to play, they were saying that they knew all along they would pull it out.

I use Charmin thoroughly whenever I see celebrations at Toomers.

Stay for entire game

There is no bigger Auburn fan in this country than me. It makes me so mad to see the fans get up and leave during the second half of a ballgame because they lose confidence in the team. Please stay until the game is over.

Serious question:  Would we rammer jammer after a game like that?

Like I said in another in a thread, I watched the end of that game, and the way their players and fans were acting, you would have thought they had just won the BCS again. If Bama was in the same position, I would have been relieved to win, but ain't no way I would have felt like celebrating. My first thought would have been, "Great, but we stunk today and now MSU is coming next week. What we will THEY do us?"

I'd like to say that we DEFINITELY would NOT Rammer Jammer however, there are quite a few in the stands that would in fact Rammer Jammer.  And although it was an UGLY win by aub.  They DID fight back and win!  (darn it!)

Would the band play or would they be doing it a capela?

No actually, he played a bigot & a racist and naturally the show added that he was conservative. Rob Reiner, his tv son, is a HUGE Lib today.

Not me.  I've been in situations where our team was lucky to win.  I just shake my head, look the opponent in the eye, and shake his hand to congratulate him.  He knows what you mean.

I had a little baseball coach that would not let you get your free coke after the game if we lost or won but played bad. It made some parents mad but I agreed with him. He would not approve of the barn rolling the trees after yesterday's showing.

MD you are correct. Rob Reiner was the one that said Carroll O' Conner was a big lib. He said it on a TV late show, serveral years before O'Conner passed away. Meathead said O'Conner was always reading "The Nation"
