Title: "Will Tide hold onto No. 2 ranking? Tuesday will tell us."

Alabama will not find out if it holds onto its No. 2 ranking in each of the major polls until Tuesday.

No. 4 LSU's decisive victory over No. 3 Oregon could shake things up.

I wouldn't mind if we got jumped this week. As long as we are in the top two nationally at the end of the SEC Championship game.

  e-cred.  That's the bottom line, isn't it?  Indeed, being behind LSU is no problem (yet).  Being behind Oklahoma and Boise could be poison.

I agree about LSU jumping us but that's ok we play them. I'm still anxious to see how many votes Boise St gets, they got 2 first place votes last week and that will jump this week.

If the voters drop us to #3 in the polls, then they should drop the boogers out of the polls altogether.

I'm not worried too much about Auburn and the polls this year only when we have to go down there and play them. We all know about Cheezit and his lucky horseshoe.

A'burn is the luckiest team alive and I know it's not from living right.

True, and I hate them too.  But you've got to concede that the on-sides kick was well executed (good preparation).  Best part was that their fans left before the comeback - laughing.

Utah State stood there and let the ball go over their heads and didn't knock any boogers down. Just let run past and catch the football. I have never left an Alabama game early. Win, Lose or Draw - The Allman Brothers Band.
I stayed until the end.

Polls are really useless right now. It is impossible to compare teams after one week. As long as we stay near the top we are in good shape. We will be 1 or 2 at the end if we win all our games.

I once rode with a guy to the Ole Miss game in Tuscaloosa.  He wanted to leave early to "beat the traffic".  I begged, but it was his truck, so we left.

The game went into overtime and Bama won.  We got a ticket on the way home.  Most of the traffic we "beat" passed us while the State Trooper was writing the ticket.    :dunno:  I have not ridden with him since; not to gun shows, ball games, or Kroger.

I only ride with my close friend to the games. I have rode with others many years ago, but they want to go the interstate. I don't drive on interstate to the ballgames. We drive down old Tuscaloosa- Birmingham highway (215). We go through Abernant, Brookwood. When we reach the small community of Peterson, there is an old twisting turning road ( Holt - Peterson road). That road brings you out on Jack Warner Parkway (river road). Then we park. No traffic.1 hour at most. After game it takes 1-1/2 to get home. We got home at 430 Saturday after game.

I don't go to games anymore.  E-cred on the route.  :bf:

I think LSU should be #1 this week. They wore down oregon just like SEC teams do. Their QB, Lee, played exceptional to me. He did nothing to lose the game. I saw some of the licks LSU passed on the Oregon players, Miles had them ready to play. I Would Not wanted to have played them Saturday Night. They are going to be hard to beat this year. RTR!
