Pearl now has a 26-40 (39%) overall record and 9-27 (25%) conference record. His record is no better than Barbee who they fired to hire Pearl and not nearly as good as Lebo the guy before Barbee. They just lost the last past game in the SEC Tournament.

Canty was their highest score (18 ppg), a couple of other players missed major time due to injuries including their point guard, & another guard. Losing 3 guards on a team is sure death. A prized recruit, 6'7' small forward Purifoy, was found ineligible. Really can't blame Pearl for this. A&M blew LSU out while the stadium was half empty. The Kentucky fans either arrived late or were in hospitality events. Once the UK - UGA game started the placed was packed. I felt just like a UK home game. They were loud and stood most of the game. It was a great game until it was tied 70-70 with about 6 minutes remaining. UK took it over from there.
