Alabama plays two against Alcorn State before going on the road to Lexington to play Kentucky. The road series at UK will be the 3rd road trip with only the UT series at home. We start 3 freshman and 3 sophomores. We are hitting the ball hard for singles and doubles but lack home run power. I think we will finish this year about .500 in SEC play and go to an NCAA regional. The SEC currently has 8 teams ranked in the Top 18. A&M, Florida, Vandy and So Carolina are all in the Top 5. IMO this is the best talent CMG has had since taking over for Jim Wells. I think we will have a good season but I do not expect to win a Regional much less a Super Regional. We are still a player or two away from being a very good team.
