Title: Baseball Falls to No. 19 Kentucky, 6-2, on Walkoff Grand Slam
Post by: Jamos on April 09, 2016, 07:32:41 PM
Alabama baseball fell victim to a walkoff grand slam, as the Crimson Tide suffered the 6-2 loss at 19th-ranked Kentucky on Saturday afternoon at Cliff Hagan Stadium. The Wildcats claim the series victory with the win, and UA moves to 18-13 on the season, 5-6 in conference play.

Time to start thinking about a new baseball coach. We are falling behind other SEC programs. I think he's like 84-105 in the SEC.

Bama wins Game Three 2-1.

We improve to 19-13 on the year and 6-6 SEC. We return home next week for a Tuesday game against UAB and a weekend series with Ole Miss.

I'm glad they took the last game. They needed to stop the bleeding. Maybe this will give them a little momentum going forward.

Bama got great pitching this weekend but so did UK. Runs were hard to get in all three games. UK is a solid team. I look forward to playing a few series at home. I think we are fortunate to be 6-6 with 9 of the 12 conference games on the road.
